Google wants to offer national WI-FI
Google the big search engine giant wants to offer national WI-FI. Google wants to offer this national service for free, yes i say free! Google is lobbying the FCC for some of the wireless spectrum which will be freed next year when TV turns to digital and no longer offers analog transmission. There are many skeptics with regards to security and the data that is going to be sent over these networks, but national WI-FI means that you will be able to access the internet pretty much anywhere in the country, although speeds may range and in some areas be slower than others offering this service to the community will only make the internet and web bigger and more available.
